Don’t buy it! - Trying to direct you to malware!

I have used a version of MPlayer for years, and needed a new player so I bought this one on the app store. However, there is a bug (I can’t play videos in full screen, the display just turns white) which have been reported by other users.

When I tried to contact support, there is no link or contact form on the authors website.

There is a note on the app store page directing people to download a newer verson from a web site, but I see some users are reporting that link has malware. The author hasn’t bothered to post an update in the app store which is a big red flag.

I guess I wasted my money on this app. Bummer.
