Any newer version than 1.0.14 has Malware

This software may be a good app, except when going into full-screen mode (you’ll get a completely white screen).

Any newer versions of this app must be downloaded from another site, not from the Apple App Store. The reason is likely due to the malware found in versions hosted by the author of this app.

Search the Internet for MPlayerX and malware, and you will find that the app contains malware. My anti-malware software also detects the malware.

So, even though you may find the app very useful, I just wanted to share this info. There is a “cost" associated with this “free” app.
