App goes white when you try to go full screen. Next to useless

On basic level I like it. However, when I try and use some of the tools or skip forward in a video, the audio track goes out of sync. I dont think the speed adjustment feature is intended to compensate for bugs, rather for compensation on faulty downloaded videos. Also, with some of those, I get a white screen when switching to/from Full Screen. The developers site has a more current version than the one offered here and, despite requirements for OS 10.7+, it does work on OS 10.6

this app used to work amazingly, and now ever since i updated my computer, when i try to put it to full screen it goes white????

Please update this app. We would even pay for it.

overtime, no matter how i restart the app or computer, it goes total black when full screen… used to be my favourite player

When you first open the file, it shows the video fine. But when you enter fullscreen, it just shows white screen! even when you downsize the screen size, it still shows the white screen. What a waste of money! :(

The release notes for this latest update stated that it addressed pixelation issues in El Capitan. I had no such issues with the previous version but since I updated now I do! It’s so bad I can’t even use the player and am forced to use VLC instead. I prefer a properly working MPlayerx so please fix this.

ABSOLUTELY does not work in OSX 10.11 The latest update has now stopped playing back MKV files. Previous review: I have been an MPlayer user for over 6 years. This version has a modern chrome-less UI ("the new eye-candy fashion") but its horribly stuttery, especially in fullscreen with a lot of content that has no problems with MPlayer OSX Extended or the original MPlayer OSX. The other two versions are not available on the App Store, but theyre equally free - just search for them in Google.

A main feature is full-screen playback, but app displays only a white screen that won’t go away until you quite the stupid app.

There are several alternatives out there! My favourite is at mpv.io - but don’t take my word for it.
