Everytime i go full screen with this app, it just becomes a giant white screen and doesnt show the movie anymore, no matter what type of format im using. I love how it can play every type of video, but if there is a fix for this that would be awesome

so i was recomended this app saying its amazing and works on all types of media ,,, so i blindly purchased it and now i’ve come to realize i wasted some money on a player that not only doesnt work but also crashes my system !!! to be fair before writing this review i did send SEVERAL reports to the company but still with no luck … tbh i still am willing to give it another shot but plz either improve this version or give me a solution to properly use this app Thank you

Complete garbage. Program wont open. I tried going to the wedbiste to download from there after it didn’t work from the app store and that download failed. There is no link for support - no way to resolve my issue. WASTE OF MONEY - DO NOT BUY

just bought this app to play .avi’s and it crashes every time I open it. 10 times in a row now. I’ll have to find a way to get a refund, first time wanting to return an app purchase.

Liked how user friendly the app is, but every time I try to enter full screen mode the screen goes white. I just paid two dollars to not be about to watch my files! How do I fix this????

Fantastic media player. Love everything about it except for a minor bug that occurs when you try to full screen the video player. The entire screen blacks out and won’t go away until you quit the app and reopen. Currently unable to view full screen.

My friend and I both buy this SW, it is NOT WORKING, every time i try to open it , it does not responce and i have to force close it !!! On OS 10.10. 5

I just installed this player but when I open Video in this program and enter into the full screen it will show white screen every time. DO NOT BUY THIS PROGRAM.

I installed twice. Haven’t seen one time it can play any type of video. Always loading and then no response and I have to force quite. I won’t try that again.

I have had the app for a long time. It updated, but the ICON won’t disappear from the middle of the screen when playing a video. I went to the Apple App store & paid the $1.99 for the app, thinking it might be a better update. It won’t download & apparently, I already have the updated version. Unfortunately, the ICON continues to be permanently in the middle of the playing screen.

I don’t know how Apple let this happen, but after I purchased the app it tells me it’s failed to download and won’t install… What? What should I do now?!?!

Just bought this and when I tried to open it, nothing happened besides there was this icon appearing at the bottom of the screen. The only thing I could do with it is to force it to quit and send a report.

The player that they want you to download at their website has adware in it! It changes your browser homepage, had to go get malware bites to get rid of it. Plus it installs other software as well. Im not even sure that the version on here is safe. Used to be the best player now I dont trust them whatsoever!!!

This player was a good tool once upon a time. But it, like many other applications have fallen into disrepair and are dreadfully out of date to the point where they are non-functional for the majority of users. If it’s working for you it’s because you haven’t updated your other video components which means you system is not secure. If you have updated to the latest versions of various codec’s and quicktime, etc. then the player won’t display due to it not being updated with the components it depends on. Also DO NOT download the file from the link in the introduction! It was scanned to have a trojan in it.

ever since the new IOS software. MplayerX cant seem to go full screen without making the video go blank and only audi functions.

It worked at first, but it now freezes up whenever it is started. Reinstalling didn’t help. The direct download from mplayerx seems to contain malware. If you can’t fix the issue with fullscreen on multiple monitors then at least reset the settings when starting the application so we don’t get stuck in a non-working state.

Not sure what bug causes this, but every time I try to take the player into full screen, the screen goes completely white. Afterwards, the file for the video will only play audio with a white screen, regardless if the video is fullscreen or not. This was my favorite player for the longest time, but after I upgraded to Mavericks, it’s just not the same.

screen goes completely white once it’s in full screen, you can still hear the audio but cannot see a thing. it is completly annoying that i’m not allowed to watch it full screen without a problem

I liked this app. However, it went to the URL to download new version. When trying to install, it said I can’t install because I don’t have a PPC.
